Ali, our in-house Composer and Orchestrator, recently took a trip to Eastconnection’s scoring stage in Budapest in order to record the first chunk of his score for an upcoming video game title with a full symphony orchestra. The recording sessions took place over a 5 day period with an ensemble of over 60 musicians.
Having worked with the Budapest Art Orchestra on the soundtrack for Chessington World of Adventures “Room on the Broom”, we are delighted to be working with them again on this project.
Whilst Ali would ordinarily conduct his own music, he felt that he would be better placed in the control room on this occasion, and instead employed the services of esteemed Orchestrator and Conductor Nicholas Dodd (Independence Day, Casino Royale, Stargate, etc.) to take to the podium and lead the Orchestra.
Back at our studio in South Yorkshire, we now begin a lengthy post-production process; mixing and implementing the score in order to bring the Game’s world and story to life.
